Friday’s high school football schedule includes Mountain Home returning to the road for one of its biggest games of the year. The Bombers will go to Pearcy for a matchup with Lake Hamilton.
Mountain Home and the Wolves are part of a three-way tie, along with Shiloh Christian, for second place in the 6A-West. The Bombers are currently 6-1 on the season and 3-1 in the conference after winning their homecoming game against Siloam Springs. Lake Hamilton fell to 5-2 and 3-1 last week after suffering a five-touchdown loss at Greenwood.
This week’s game could have seeding implications when it comes to the Class 6A State Playoffs, and Mountain Home head coach Steve Ary says his team is well aware of that fact.
