A major water outage is affecting a portion of the customers of the Mockingbird Hill Water Association. The outage is being reported at the South Lead Hill booster station.
According to the association, the discharge line going out of the booster blew apart. Water pressure reportedly lifted the building 12 inches. Replacement parts are being sought, and heavy equipment is needed to set the building back in place and make repairs.
