1st week of early voting ends with 25% turnout in Baxter County, 20% in Marion County

The first week of early voting is in the books in Arkansas, and nearly a quarter of Baxter County’s registered voters have cast their ballots. Saturday ended up with 411 county residents going to First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home to vote, bringing the six-day total to 7,886.

Marion County had a 20% turnout for the first week of early voting. There were 166 ballots cast Saturday at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Summit, and that puts the total for the week at 2,302.
