The Mockingbird Hill Water Association’s South Lead Hill booster station had its water line repaired as of Sunday. According to the association, tanks are slowly being refilled, and a boil water order will not be a required, but the Arkansas Department of Health is reporting boil orders for other systems that are provided water by Mockingbird Hill.

The entire systems for SPG Water Association in Marion and Searcy counties, Leslie Water System in Searcy County and Mount Sherman Water Association in Newton County are under boil orders. Another has been issued for SDM Water Association’s two customers at the end of the line in the southwest part of the system, along Lick Fork Road past Marcina Road in Searcy County.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
