Early voting turnout in Baxter in Marion counties remained steady although down slighty Wednesday as the election now stands less than a week away. In Baxter County a third of registered voters have cast their votes for the 2024 election.
Wednesday concluded with 1,136 registered voters casting their ballots at First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home. Baxter County’s nine-day total stands at 11,689, making up 37% of its registered voters.
In Marion County, 266 ballots were cast for the second day of early voting at Bull Shoals City Hall. In addition, 242 voters turned out at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Summit, bringing Wednesday’s total to 508. Since early voting began last week, Marion County has had 3,851 ballots cast.
