Mountain Home Public Schools Superintendent Allyson Dewey will host a Drop In With Dewey event on Monday night at 5 at the Old Buford Schoolhouse. The event aims to give district stakeholders a chance to share their questions and concerns with Dewey in an informal setting.
Following the drop-in session, Dewey will provide a one-hour overview of the district. She emphasized her appreciation for the Buford community’s ongoing support, noting that many students come from the area. Dewey stated, “Our Buford residents have always been very supportive of our schools. I want to hear from the voices there.”
Mountain Home Board of Education Vice President Jason Schmeski will join Dewey at the event. A lifelong area resident and Mountain Home graduate, Schmeski highlighted the importance of rural communities, saying, “Our rural communities are a huge part of our school system, and I am looking forward to visiting with those who live in and around Buford.”
Dewey plans additional drop-in events throughout the year, both at the district office on Rodeo Drive and other locations across the district.
