According to Baxter County OEM Director, David Stults, heavy rain fall has caused County Road 108 and Newts Road to be impassable.Newts Road is off Buford Road and CR 108 is in the Norfork area near the White River.
Heavy rain is forecasted through mid morning Monday possibly adding to more local road closures county wide. When encountering high waters especially over roadways remember to Turn Around Don’t Drown.
