Dora girls win 1st ever state cross country championship

The Missouri State High School Activities Association recently held its Class 1 State Cross Country Meet in Columbia, and one area team came away with one of the top prizes. Dora’s girls captured their first ever team championship on Friday, beating out Chadwick by seven points.

Isabelle Martin was the Lady Falcons’ top runner. Martin crossed the line in 17th place in a time of 21:18.1.

Dora finished seventh on the boys’ side as the title went to McAuley Catholic. Daniel Tomlinson led the Falcons as he ended up 11th in 17:29.
