The 4th annual Coulter Celebration of Lights will begin Nov. 29 on the ASU-Mountain Home campus.
Throughout the event, the ASUMH campus will transform into a drive-through light festival, featuring nightly displays through Dec. 29. A lighting ceremony and a 5K Candy Cane Run, sponsored by the ASUMH Alumni Association, will launch the festival on Nov. 29.
The celebration has become a highly anticipated event. Last year, it received the Festival Special Event of the Year award from the Arkansas Recreation and Parks Association.
New displays are planned for this year, including a large gateway entrance on College Street. A holiday festival featuring treats, food trucks, winter-themed slides, and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus will run from Dec. 14-17.
Donations will be accepted at the gates at each entrance to the campus. Director of Development at ASUMH Becca Bouldin, says donations go to benefit students.
