Baxter Health announced the addition of Amorie Smith, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, to the Baxter Health Bone and Joint Clinic as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Smith will work alongside Dr. Win Moore, Dr. Thomas E. Knox, Dr. Ed Roeder, and Cheyenne Morgan, PA-C, providing orthopedic care to the community.
Smith brings over a decade of nursing experience to the clinic, most recently serving as an emergency department charge nurse at Baxter Health’s Cline Emergency Center. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Missouri State University.
In her free time, Smith enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family, her boyfriend, and her eight-year-old daughter, who is active in volleyball and soccer. She expressed enthusiasm for her new role, saying she looks forward to focusing her skills and experience on orthopedic care.
