A woman from Flippin has been arrested after hitting her boyfriend with a car following an argument between the two. The incident Monday afternoon has led to two charges against 21-year-old Kyleigh Jocelyn Brown while the victim was transported to Baxter Health for treatment of two broken ankles along with cuts and bruises.

According to the probable cause affidavit from the Lakeview Police Department, Brown and the victim were arguing as they were driving. Brown stopped the car and the victim exited the vehicle. As the victim started walking away, he says Brown hit him with the vehicle. The responding officer noted there was a large dent in the hood of the car where it appeared the victim landed after being struck.

The victim told the officer the argument continued at his residence in Lakeview and Brown started hitting him in the face at which time the victim’s mother tried to get Brown away from her son. It’s alleged Brown then started hitting the victim’s mother.

Brown is facing a felony charge of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor charge of third degree battery. She is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center with bonds totaling $25,000.
