The Mountain Home Symphony will present its annual winter holiday concert Sunday at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. Doors open at 2 and the performance begins at 2:30.
The concert will feature a 60-member symphony joined by a large choir performing classic holiday favorites, some with a unique twist, as well as classical pieces. The concert is expected to last approximately 90 minutes, including an intermission, and will conclude with a rendition of the “Hallelujah Chorus.”
Cellist Russel Tucker and Violist Alissa Gordon, members of the symphony, says they’ve seen a lot of growth over the last thirty years.
