Tuesday basketball results include Norfork winning 2 of 3 over Viola

Norfork was able to pick up two wins as they hosted Viola for three games. The Panthers beat the Longhorns in the senior boys’ game 57-43. Norfork also took the senior girls’ contest over Viola 54-45. Norfork’s only loss was in the junior boys’ game as they fell to Viola 40-22.

The Calico Rock High School teams had mixed results as they hosted Rural Special. The Pirates topped the Rebels 51-44 in the boys’ game. Calico Rock had a different result in the girls’ contest as they fell to Rural Special 57-32.

Timbo’s girls had a rough outing on the road. The Lady Tigers suffered a 62-31 defeat at the hands of Concord.

The Mountain View High School teams had a successful road trip as they swept Pangburn. The Yellowjackets got past the Tigers 61-55 in the boys’ game. The girls’ contest went down to the wire as Mountain View squeaked by Pangburn 60-59.

Valley Springs’ girls played in front of the home crowd and topped Ozark Mountain 66-26. Macy Willis was the Lady Tigers’ top scorer with 20 points, and Tayla Trammell chipped in 10. Valley Springs improves to 5-2 on the season.

The Harrison boys took Fort Smith Northside to double overtime, but they came up short in the second extra period. The Goblins were edged out by the Grizzlies 69-66.
