Thursday was a rough night for Mountain Home’s junior high basketball program as they suffered five losses to Greene County Tech at Paragould.
The freshman boys’ game ended with the Junior Bombers falling to the Junior Golden Eagles 48-18. Tanner Alkire was Mountain Home’s top scorer with 11 points. The Junior Bombers drop to 0-5 on the season and 0-1 in the Northeast Arkansas Conference.
Mountain Home also lost the freshman girls’ contest to Tech 50-25. Macy Farris led the Junior Lady Bombers with 12 points. Mountain Home is 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the league.
The night wasn’t any better for Mountain Home’s eighth grade boys as they were defeated by Tech 48-10. The Eighth Grade Bombers fall to 0-2.
The eighth grade girls’ contest ended with Mountain Home falling to Tech 45-8. The Eighth Grade Lady Bombers’ record is now 0-2.
The evening began with Mountain Home losing the seventh grade girls’ game to Tech 33-17. The Seventh Grade Lady Bombers are 0-2 on the year.
