Friday’s basketball schedule includes the second of back-to-back road games for the Mountain Home High School boys. The Bombers will be in Centerton for a matchup with Bentonville West.
Mountain Home is 2-1 on the season as they come off a win at Rogers. For Bentonville West, this is their first home game of the season. The Wolverines are also 2-1 after escaping with a two-point win Thursday at Siloam Springs.
Tip-off at Wolverine Basketball Arena is scheduled for 4:30. Due to scheduling conflicts, we will be unable to broadcast Friday’s game.
Bergman will begin hosting its annual Holiday Hoopsgiving. The Lady Panthers meet Farmington at 4:30 followed by Bergman’s junior varsity and varsity boys facing LISA Academy North.
Elsewhere on the high school level, Mountain Home Christian Academy’s boys will play at Gospel Light, Cotter hosts Izard County, Viola entertains Sloan-Hendrix for two girls’ games and Lutie for a boys’ contest, Bakersfield’s boys make the trip to Bradleyville, the Gainesville girls are home against Koshkonong, Dora’s boys head to Norwood, Mammoth Spring hosts Melbourne, Marshall travels to Western Grove to take on Ozark Mountain, Timbo makes the trip to Alpena, Mountain View entertains Cave City, Lead Hill is home against Valley Springs, and the Harrison boys head to Mena.
Mountain Home’s three junior high boys’ teams will be in front of the home crowd as they go up against Harrison. The seventh grade game tips off at 4:30 followed by the eighth grade and freshman contests.
Mountain Home’s three junior high girls’ teams will also play Harrison, but their games will be on the road. The seventh grade game starts at 4:30, and the eighth grade and freshman contests will follow.
In other junior high basketball, Yellville-Summit travels to Calico Rock, and Jasper hosts Farmington.
