The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, and Historic Cane Hill have announced a nationwide art contest to feature artwork on the 2025 Arkansas Northern Bobwhite Conservation Stamp and Eastern Wild Turkey Conservation Stamp.

The competition is open to U.S. residents 18 and older, with a submission deadline of Jan. 25, 2025. Winners in each category will receive $2,500 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place.

Entries will be judged by a panel of artists and wildlife professionals based on the accuracy and quality of their depictions of northern bobwhite quail and eastern wild turkey in traditional Arkansas habitats.

The winning entries and other accepted artworks will be showcased at the Historic Cane Hill Gallery in northwest Arkansas during a public exhibition. The exhibition opens with a ceremony announcing the winners on March 15, 2025, and runs through April 26, 2025.

Proceeds from the voluntary purchase of quail and turkey stamps fund habitat rehabilitation and enhancement projects in Arkansas. Since their inception, the stamps have generated more than $2.2 million for 54 habitat improvement projects on public lands, benefiting northern bobwhite, eastern wild turkey, and other ground-nesting birds and grassland wildlife.
