A fire destroyed a house north of Mountain Home Monday evening.
No injuries were reported in the blaze that leveled the home owned by Tammy McCalmont.
According to the report from the Mountain Home Fire Department, the call came in at 5:31 and when the first units arrived, the house was fully involved.
Mountain Home was assisted in fighting the fire by the Clarkridge and Midway volunteer fire departments. Firefighters were on the scene for two and a half hours.
No one was at home when the fire broke out. The home was located at 47 Sun Valley Lane off of Highway 5 North, just north of the Mountain Home city limits, near the new Dollar General store.
