A rural Baxter County teen suffered what was termed a suspected minor injury Friday afternoon when her vehicle bounced off a tree and slid for nearly 35 feet. Eighteen-year-old Isabella Rossman was transported by ambulance to Baxter Health.
According to the crash report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Rossman was traveling on County Road 13 east of Midway. Her vehicle reportedly ran off the right side of the roadway and traveled for nearly 70 feet before striking a large tree with the front driver’s side corner. The vehicle lost its driver’s side front wheel, bounced off the tree and slid before coming to a rest.
Damage to the vehicle from the 2:25 p.m. accident was estimated at $5,000.
