Chamber Leadership Class visits KTLO to reflect on their experience

Over the past year, members of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class have been on a journey to learn about how to help grow Mountain Home. Members of the class recently visited KTLO to recap the experience of the past year.

The class gives participants the opportunity to learn more about the community in Mountain Home and get to know the people who are involved. Hannah Harris says through this class, she’s met people from all walks of life.

Through learning about the local government of Mountain Home, the class learns how to better serve the community. Shane Brockwell says the relationships he’s built through this class will serve him into the future.

Each year, the Chamber Leadership Class takes a trip to Little Rock with the goal of learning more about the inner working of Arkansas’ institutions and bringing a spotlight to North Central Arkansas. This year, the class visited Little Rock Central High School to learn the history of the Little Rock Nine which took place in 1957. Tracy Cox says this was the most memorable experience of the class.
