Crews have been working to clear roadways in the Twin Lakes Area following the snowfall that began Thursday night and ended Friday afternoon. At KTLO, Classic Hits 101.7 and 99.7 The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, a total of 9 inches was recorded.
Street crews in Mountain Home have been making progress to clear the roads, and Scott Manchester of the Mountain Home Street Department says Mother Nature should eventually provide assistance.

There’s still a significant amount of work to be done in Baxter County. Road and Bridge Superintendent Larry Carter says expects crews to work throughout the weekend.

In Marion County, Judge Jason Stumph says crews have been working on the roads all day.

IDriveArkansas.com shows slush-covered roadways on Arkansas Highway 5 throughout Izard and Stone counties, Arkansas Highway 9 from Salem to Melbourne and Arkansas Highway 69 throughout Izard County. Most of the other major highways in the Arkansas are clear.
Sheriff Cass Martin says the main roads in Ozark County have improved, but the less-traveled roads are in rough shape. The Missouri Department of Transportation’s traveler information map shows Missouri Highway 5 mostly clear throughout Ozark and Douglas counties, and U.S. Highway 160 is mostly clear for most of Ozark County and partly covered in Howell County.
