EUDORA, Ark. – The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the Arkansas State Police (ASP) is investigating the death of Jamarion Plummer, 25, of Eudora at the request of the Eudora Police Department (EPD).
The incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 8:15 p.m., when an officer on patrol heard what was thought to be gunshots. The officer responded to the area and was flagged down by witnesses who reported that Plummer had been shot at his residence in the 1000 block of North Main Street.
Plummer was transported to Chicot Memorial Medical Center in a private vehicle and then later transferred to UAMS in Little Rock, where he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 11:30 p.m.
The body of the deceased will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the manner and cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
