A shooting was reported Monday afternoon at Mountain View Estates off Gassville Gardens Lane in Gassville.
Gassville Mayor Jeff Braim confirmed the incident, stating that no Gassville police officers were involved. The Arkansas State Police are leading the investigation.
Cotter Superintendent Jayme Jones said school buses will run their normal routes. However, a school resource officer will escort students who get off the bus in the area and walk them home, so they do not cross into the crime scene.
