Baxter Health has been recognized by Arkansas Medicaid and the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC) for its long-standing participation in the annual Inpatient Quality Incentive (IQI) program. The award recognizes Baxter Health’s more than 10 years of consistent involvement and its efforts to enhance the health of Arkansans.

The IQI program, established in 2006 through a partnership between Arkansas Medicaid, AFMC, and the Arkansas Hospital Association, assesses the quality of care provided by hospitals statewide. The program offers financial incentives to hospitals that demonstrate significant improvements in health outcomes.

Rachel Gilbert, MSN, RN, vice president and chief nursing officer at Baxter Health, emphasized the dedication of the hospital’s staff in achieving this milestone.

Since its inception, the IQI program has aimed to drive better care practices and outcomes across Arkansas hospitals.
