An area man was killed in a one-vehicle accident late Friday afternoon in Izard County. Seventy-four-year-old Carroll Jennings of Brockwell was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Jennings was traveling on Arkansas Highway 56 in Brockwell. His pickup truck reportedly traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The road was dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the 4:04 p.m. accident.
