Mountain Home Publics Schools Superintendent Allyson Dewey will host a “Drop In With Dewey” event Thursday evening at 5 at the Oakland Church of Christ. The event aims to give district stakeholders a chance to share their questions and concerns with Dewey in an informal setting. She will be accompanied by recently elected School Board member Mollie Morgan.
Dewey says she is consistently impressed by the support the district’s students and staff receive from local patrons. She states “Everyone I encounter in our area seems to have one thing in common: they want what is best for kids. Are there differing opinions about what that means? Of course. But overall the care and concern for the future of our students is a shared value that makes our area special.”
Dewey plans additional drop-in events throughout the year, both at the district office on Rodeo Drive and other locations across the district.
