
The Mountain Home Bombers and Lady Bombers hit the road Monday for matchups against Paragould, with mixed results across the board.
The 8th grade boys fell short, 26-20, despite a strong effort from Connor Gentry, who led the team with 8 points. Kody Shrable and Ryder Oels each added 4 points.
In the 9th-grade game, the Bombers made a late push but ultimately lost 37-34. Max Bryant led all scorers with 16 points, while Brody Brown contributed 6.
The 7th grade girls came up just short, falling 18-14. Sophia Kaminski led the way with 6 points, and Ryleigh Applegate added 4.
The Junior High JV girls also had a close game but lost 13-10. Bella McCracken and Allyson Tilley each scored 3 points.
The highlight of the night came from the Junior High Varsity girls, who secured a 39-29 win over Paragould. Evelyn Marks led the team with 14 points, while Macy Farris and MaKenna Miller chipped in 8 and 7 points, respectively.
The 7th-grade girls now hold a 7-11 record, while the Junior High Varsity stands at 7-10 overall, with a 6-7 conference record.
Both the Bombers and Lady Bombers will host Batesville on Thursday at the Hangar for their final regular season games. The action kicks off with 7th grade girls and boys, followed by 8th and 9th-grade matchups.
