Arkansas State Police (ASP) have issued an AMBER alert for a missing 16-year-old pregnant teen, Sophia Franklin, who authorities believe was kidnapped by a man from Arkansas.
Franklin was last seen at her home in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, on February 2, 2025, at approximately 9 p.m. She is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Authorities suspect that Franklin is with 40-year-old Gary Day of Arkansas. Day is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with blond hair and green eyes. According to Wisconsin authorities, the two are believed to be traveling in a black 2014 Buick Lacrosse with Pennsylvania license plate number KGW5186.
This AMBER alert follows a prior notification from Wisconsin authorities, who stated that the pair are thought to be headed to Arkansas. Authorities also noted that there is a no-contact order for Franklin and Day. Franklin is three months pregnant with Day’s child.
