The Mountain Home High School wrestling teams were in Van Buren on Saturday for the Class 5A State Duals.
The Lady Bombers finished fourth on the girls’ side. Mountain Home began the morning with a 42-39 victory over Russellville. The Lady Bombers did not fare as well in the semifinals as they lost to Searcy 78-3. Mountain Home concluded the day with a 42-40 defeat at the hands of Texarkana in the third place match.
The Bomber boys were eliminated after their opening quarterfinal match. Mountain Home was edged out by Hot Springs Lakeside 41-40.
Both Mountain Home teams will return to the Hangar on Monday. It will be Senior Night as the Bombers and Lady Bombers host Pottsville.
