Authorities are continuing their search for a missing Mountain Home woman. The Arkansas State Police announced the Silver Alert Sunday morning for 95-year-old Belva Day after she was reported missing to the Mountain Home Police Department on Friday.

The police have been working close with the family since they reported Day missing. Mountain Home Investigator Sam Seamans says she lives close to the family but in a separate domicile.

According to Seamans, the best way to locate Day is by being mindful of her vehicle. She is believed to be traveling in a beige 2003 Buick LeSabre with the Arkansas license plate USADOGN.

Seamans says a Silver Alert search can become more difficult if the missing person is believed to be in a vehicle instead of traveling on foot.

Seamans says the department has received a few leads from out of the area, but they mainly resulted in dead ends.
