Dancing, live music, specialty foods, cocktails, and unforgettable experiences are in store at the Mardi Gras Ball. The Baxter Health Foundation will host the annual event Saturday from 6 to 10 at The Sheid on the ASU-Mountain Home campus.
Cindy Costa with the Baxter Health Foundation says her favorite part of this event every year is seeing the community come together in a setting they don’t often experience.
Listen:
Jamie’s Catering will serve up their specialty New Orleans dinner which will include shrimp, gumbo, lots of sides, a special dessert along with alternatives for those who may have allergies. Hard and non-alcoholic drinks will also be served.
Along with cooking up spicy dishes, Costa says there will be a 360 video booth, a hot new feature for this year’s ball.
Listen:
Live music will be performed by Diamond Empire, a band Costa says will add a new twist to the event’s traditional music.
Listen:
The popular King and Queen Contest returns with participants scrambling for the crown by casting votes for $1 each.
Money raised from the event will go toward Baxter Health’s three community health and education houses to ensure they will be able to continue to give their much needed services to those who need it.
Limited tickets are available and can be purchased online at baxterhealth.org/mardigrasball, in person at the Foundation Office or by calling 870-508-1770.
