This year’s Mountain Home High School “Empty Bowls to Feed the Hungry” fundraiser was a huge success, thanks to the students and staff of the district.

The event is a collaboration among several student groups at the high school and raises funds for the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. It includes preparing a meal, gathering a variety of auction items, and creating ceramic bowls for patrons to take home. All proceeds go toward feeding the hungry.

Jeff Quick the CEO of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas says that this event is one that he looks forward to each year because everyone does such a great job providing meals for those who are food insecure.
