The Mountain Home High School softball team was able to remain undefeated on the season as they got past Russellville 4-3. The Lady Bombers improve to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the 5A-West.
The junior varsity girls’ game had a different result as Mountain Home fell to Russellville 5-3.
In other softball action, Flippin lost at Cave City 9-3, Calico Rock breezed past Midland 10-2, and Melbourne was edged out by Tuckerman 11-10.
In high school baseball, Cotter was doubled up by Yellville-Summit 18-9, Salem fell to Highland 13-1, Bergman got past Alpena 9-8, Harrison beat Ozark 3-1 in the Prairie Grove Jamboree, Ozark Mountain lost both games of a doubleheader to Mountainburg by scores of 16-1.
