Bomber baseball splits at Russellville

Mountain Home’s baseball teams split Monday’s doubleheader at Russellville in 5A-West action.

The junior varsity Bombers opened the day with a 5-1 win, using strong pitching and timely hitting to take control early and keep the Cyclones in check.

In the varsity game that followed, Mountain Home came up short in a 2-0 loss.
