A six-month long investigation led to a joint agency warrant sweep Thursday by the Stone County Sheriff’s Department, the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Mountain View Police Department. A total of 18 individuals were taken into custody, and two remain at large.
Sheriff Lance Bonds says some of the drug dealers were arrested through search warrants or being individually approached by officers in Stone County, and investigators utilized confidential informants in an undercover capacity to illicit drugs in the county.
Other law officers and agencies assisting in the investigation include Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stephens, 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Holly Meyer, the Arkansas State Police Criminal Division, the Izard County Sheriff’s Office, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas Game and Fish Enforcement and Arkansas Parole and Probation.

Elisha Honeycutt, Big Flat – Revocation of suspendend imposition of sentence
Kevin Brown, Mountain View – Delivery of Schedule VI controlled substance
Shontaye Rushton, Mountain View – Delivery of Schedule II controlled substance
Jerry Lawrence, Mountain View – Delivery of Schedule II controlled substance
Jonathan Pitts, Mountain View – Delivery of Schedule II controlled substance, enhancement-habitual offender
Lucas Collins, Mountain View – Delivery of methamphetamine
Eric Hibshman, Mountain View – Residential burglary, arson, theft of property
John Gillihan, Mountain View – Failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements
Joshua Hallman, Mountain View – Delivery of Schedule II controlled substance
Cody Brewer, Mountain View – Possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to use, criminal use of prohibited weapon, felony possession of firearm by certain persons
Louis Burkhart, Mountain View – First-degree criminal mischief, harassment
Richie McCarroll, Mountain View – Possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to use
James Brown, Mountain View – Delivery of Schedule VI controlled substance
Steven Tyler, Mountain View – Delivery of Schedule II controlled substance (2 counts)
Waylon Withrow, Calico Rock – Possession of Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to test, analyze or package, possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to use
Victor Osborn, Jr., Mountain View – Delivery of Schedule VI controlled substance
Cody Bracket, Mountain View – Possession of drug paraphernalia (2 counts)
Juvenile, Mountain View – Delivery of Methamphetamine
