The Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department closed the city pool inside Cooper Park on Monday for maintenance. Mountain Home Mayor Joe Dillard is reporting the maintenance was necessary after the pool was discovered to be vandalized for the second time in an eight-day period.
Mayor Dillard says the damage was a result of various items being thrown into the pool.
