The Baxter County Historical & Genealogical Society will hold their next monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 23 at 6:00 pm at the Donald W Reynolds Library in Mountain Home. Speaker will be Reverend Dr. Bob Williams who will speak on the “Bad Boys of the Civil War.” Rev. Dr. Williams recently made this presentation at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Mtn. Home and is repeating it for the Historical Society. William has a self-published book entitled “Billy’s War” about his father’s great uncle Billy, who was a bushwacker.
The Baxter County Historical Society meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00. Most meetings are held at the Donald W. Reynolds Library. Meetings are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
