Try something new this summer: This month it is oil based colored pencils. These pencils are great for layering colors. They also blend really well; in fact you will need to be careful not to smudge your work. They are a little more work to get the hang of, but they can be a fun way to layer colors and you can use them with the wax based colored pencils we usually use for even more interesting effects.
