The Twin Lakes playhouse will have a special performance of selected readings from The Diary of a Young Girl. The Diary of Anne Frank, aka The Diary of a Young Girl, is the book that introduced millions of Americans to the Holocaust as they read it in school, with their families, or discovered it on their own, and for many Anne Frank’s is still the face we see first when we think of lost lives during the Holocaust. This engaging performance will remind viewers of their first time reading the Diary, the hopes and dreams of Anne and of the hatred and racism that led to her death and the deaths of millions of others who had hopes and dreams for their futures.
