It was not just soldiers and adults who died during the Holocaust. With 1.5 million children among the victims. Each participant will receive the I.D. card of a child who was imprisoned in a concentration camp. We will learn about The Butterfly Project then, while painting your ceramic butterfly, youth with the Twin Lakes Playhouse will read some of the stories of child victims sharing their biographies. Each person will be able to take home a butterfly as a tangible symbol of resilience and hope, they will also leave a butterfly that will be displayed in the library.
