Summer Concert featuring The Charla Freeland Band.

Not often do people come together with such instantaneous relational and musical bonds, but this 5 piece band is an exception. All members of CFB tend to relish the musical style many refer to as “up-in-your-face” or “hard-driving” bluegrass. Throughout performances by this band, you’ll hear primarily hard-driving grass, accompanied by some gospel tunes to share the Good News, and a few old country covers. In January of 2023 The Charla Freeland Band, consisting of Charla Freeland, J.R. Freeland, Stacy Freeland, Matthew Maydew and Darrell Hagood, earned 2nd place in the SPBGMA International Band Contest.
