Schliemann Center for Women Fibromyalgia Lunch & Learn April 2nd at 12 Noon. Speaker: Dr. Benjamin Stevens, Market Street Family Clinic. Fibromyalgia is a type of chronic pain. It is a health condition that has long-term, wide-body pain and soreness in the muscles, joints, and soft tissue. Fibromyalgia may leave you feeling tired or it may be hard to complete the simplest tasks. It’s important for women living with fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmune aliments to find comfort and encouragement in knowing you are not alone. Few people understand what it’s like to have chronic pain or be exhausted all the time. If they haven’t experienced it, it’s hard for them to truly understand the frustration faced on difficult days. Often just having one other person in your life who is going through what you are can make all the difference. Join and discuss various ways to manage the disease. Held at Schliemann Center 624 Hospital Dr., Mountain Home, to register call 870-508-2345.
