BC Library – After School Meals
On Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30PM, the Baxter County Library is offering after-school meals for students 18 and younger. After-school meals are offered at no cost to the student/family, and are served in the downstairs multi-purpose room. Students will receive one meal each day they are provided. Staff take necessary precautions to keep the area surfaces disinfected before and after distributing meals. It was not just soldiers and adults who died during the Holocaust. With 1.5 million children among the victims. Each participant will receive the I.D. card of a child who was imprisoned in a concentration camp. We will learn about The Butterfly Project then, while painting your ceramic butterfly, youth with the Twin Lakes Playhouse will read some of the stories of child victims sharing their biographies.
